Archie Manning Says Peyton and Andrew Luck on the Same Team Bad for Both

The Indianapolis Colts appear right in line to take Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck with the first pick of the 2012 draft, but Archie Manning, father of current Colts quarterback Peyton, thinks that the partnership would be bad for both players.

"I don't think it'd necessarily be great for either one," Archie Manning told FOX Sports Radio on Tuesday, according to ProFootballTalk. "I think Andrew's the type of mature player ... he can walk right in."

The Colts are currently 0-11, and vice chairman Bill Polian has said that the team could afford both players on the roster next season.

Manning, 35, has missed the entire season after having neck surgery earlier this year.
