Report: Aaron Rowand Signs with Marlins

The Miami Marlins have signed former San Francisco Giants' centerfielder Aaron Rowand to a minor league contract, according to Fox Sports' Ken Rosenthal:

Rowand was cut from the Giants in August after hitting just .233/.275/.347 with four home runs and 21 RBI.

His best season came in 2007 with the Philadelphia Phillies, when he 27 home runs and 87 runs batted in.
