Pittsburgh Search For New Coach Include Paul Chryst And Luke Fickell

The University of Pittsburgh is considering two Big Ten coaches to replace recently departed head coach Todd Graham, ESPN reports.

Interim head coach at Ohio State University Luke Fickell has already interviewed for the job.  Pittsburgh will also interview Wisconsin offensive coordinator Paul Chryst on Saturday.

Fickell took over the Buckeyes squad after former head coach Jim Tressel resigned due to NCAA violations found to have occurred during his tenure.  The Buckeyes have gone 9-4 this season and will play in the TaxSlayer.com Gator Bowl.  Fickell, as of now, will serve as the defensive coordinator under newly hired head coach Urban Meyer.

Chryst will help coach the Badgers in the Rose Bowl against the University of Oregon.  He was considered for the Pittsburgh head coaching vacancy last year as well as recent openings the University of Illinois and University of Kansas.
