Report: Ryan Braun's Positive Drug Test Triggered By Medication

NL MVP Ryan Braun’s positive test for high levels of testosterone was reportedly caused by medication the Brewers star is taking for a private medical condition, TMZ reports, citing sources directly connected with Major League Baseball.

The report suggests that the player was not using performance enhancing drugs.

Braun has maintained that he has never taken PEDs or steroids of any kind at any time. It is unclear whether Braun knew the banned substances were in his medication before he took it.
