Report: Floyd Mayweather Jr. To Turn Himself In This Morning To Serve 90 Day Sentence

Floyd Mayweather Jr. is expected to turn himself in to a Las Vegas court today in order to serve a 90-day sentence for misdemeanor assault and harassment charges.

In December Mayweather pleaded guilty in accordance to a plea deal in which the original felony charges the boxer faced were reduced to misdemeanor charges. During the September 2010 incident in question, Mayweather was accused of hitting and threatening his ex-girlfriend and then threatening two of their children (at the time, 10 and 9 years old). The argument occurred because the boxer believed the woman was dating another man.
