Nine games into the Orlando Magic's season, we're still right where we started: Dwight Howard is still in town, and he still wants out.
"Nothing has changed," Howard told Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel before today's game in Sacramento.
Howard and the Magic were engulfed by trade rumors at the start of the season, but the superstar big man has managed to block out the noise and get off to a monster start -- he's posting 20.2 points and 15.9 rebounds per game, and the Magic are 6-3. But despite the success on the court, no progress has been made off it.
Magic GM Otis Smith confirmed to the Sentinel that Howard's request to be traded is still on the table, and his agent has permission to speak with the Mavericks, Lakers and Nets.
