Hunter Pence Avoids Arbitration With One-Year, $10.4 Million Deal

Outfielder Hunter Pence and the Philadelphia Phillies have avoided arbitration by agreeing to a one-year, $10.4 million deal.

The 28-year-old earned $6.9 million on a one-year deal last season.

In 154 games between the Phillies and the Houston Astros, Pence hit .314/.370/.502 with 22 home runs and 97 RBI. The 28-year-old earned his second All-Star appearance last year.
