Giants unmoved by Patriots' compliments

Monday January 30th, 2012

New York Giants defensive end Justin Tuck said Friday that comments praising the Giants made by New England Patriots players is simply lip service.

“Typical Patriot fashion,” Tuck told the New York Daily News. “They give compliments to everyone they play.”

Other players were similarly dismissive. “They can say whatever they want,” defensive end Dave Tollefson said, according to the paper. “We can say whatever we want. We’re going to play next Sunday. We’ll settle it out there.”
