St. Louis Delivers Stadium Upgrade Plans To Rams

Wednesday February 1st, 2012

The St.Louis Convention and Visitors Commission (CVC) have delivered their plans to upgrade the Edward Jones Dome to Rams owner Stan Kroenke, according to STL Today.

The Rams have until March 1 to accept or reject the CVC proposal, and until May 1 to make a counter-offer. If an agreement is not made by June 15, the two sides would go into arbitration.

If an agreement is not made between the CVC and the Rams, the team would be free to relocate after March 1, 2015.  A very possible relocation option would be to move the team to Los Angeles, the Rams' former home. Kroenke had put in a bid to buy baseball's Los Angeles Dodgers; therefore, many have speculated that the Rams could return to the much larger market of Los Angeles.
