Report: MLBPA Aware Of Guilty Party In Ryan Braun Leak, Not Considering Lawsuit

Michael Weiner, executive director of the Major League Baseball Players Association, said today that he's aware of the circumstances surrounding the leak of Ryan Braun's positive drug test, and he's not worried about a larger problem of confidentiality in the program, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

"Everybody associated with the case is extremely disappointed that it leaked out," Weiner said. "I'm certain the leak was specific to this case. It does not threaten the confidentiality of the program, and as I've said to players who  have asked about that, confidentiality is as important as any aspect of this program."

While Weiner does know exactly who leaked the test result to ESPN, he maintained that he is not interested in a lawsuit against the guilty party.
