Report: MLB Owners Approve Dodgers Bid Groups

The MLB owners have approved all three bid groups for the Los Angeles Dodgers, according to Bill Shaikin of the Los Angeles Times. The auction begins tomorrow.

The three groups are:

• A group that includes former Lakers star Magic Johnson and former Braves and Nationals president Stan Kasten.
• Stan Kroenke, whose family owns parts of the St. Louis Rams, Denver Nuggets and Colorado Avalanche.
• Steven Cohen, founder of SAC Capital Advisors and limited partner of the Mets, agent Arn Tellem and entrepreneur Patrick Soon-Shiong.
