Doug Fister Leaves Tigers-Red Sox Game With Strain In Left Side

Two games into the regular season, the Detroit Tigers already have an injury concern -- starting pitcher Doug Fister left in the fourth inning of today's game against the Boston Red Sox with a strain in his left side, according to the Associated Press.

Tigers manager Jim Leyland and trainer Kevin Rand came out to the mound to check on Fister with two outs in the top of the fourth. He was eventually removed from the game in the middle of an at-bat, facing Ryan Sweeney; Duane Below replaced Fisher and finished the inning.
