Reds Offer Brandon Phillips Six-year $72.5 Million Deal

Cincinnati Reds offer second baseman, Brandon Phillips a six-year $72.5 million deal, according to a tweet from ESPN’s Jim Bowden.

[tweet align='center'] The two-time All-Star, and three-time Golden Glove winner, played in 150 games last season for the Reds, hitting .300 with 18 home runs, 82 RBIs, and 14 stolen bases. Over the course of his career he has recorded a career average of .272, hit 130 home runs, 524 RBIs, and stole 139 bases.
