Brandon Beachy's excellent season may have hit a road bump tonight. The Atlanta Braves starter left tonight's game against the Baltimore Orioles in the fourth inning, with multiple outlets including CBS Sports reporting that the removal was due to soreness in his right throwing elbow.

Beachy had been rested an extra three days after experiencing discomfort in that same elbow after his last outing. It was hoped that the condition would clear in that time, but instead it worsened through the opening stanza of the Braves' matchup with the Orioles.
