Report: Bulls will select Tyshawn Taylor at No. 29

While nearly every NBA team is scrambling to make trades and assess what player will be available when they're on the clock, the Chicago Bulls seemed to have already settled on their choice at No. 29.

According to NBC Sports' Vin Parise, the Bulls will be taking point guard Tyshawn Taylor in tonight's draft.

Taylor helped the Jayhawks to the national title game in April and averaged 16.6 points and 4.8 assists last season. The senior was expected to be a high second-round pick, and the Bulls are targeting him early for his assistance in the backcourt.

Derrick Rose is still recovering from an ACL tear he suffered in the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs against the Philadelphia 76ers. He's expected to return in mid-January or February, but the explosiveness that helped him win the 2011 NBA MVP may not have returned by then.
