Khaled Holmes injury: USC center carted off field after hurting right leg

USC senior center Khaled Holmes was carted off the MetLife Stadium field midway through the fourth quarter when his right leg was caught under another player.

According to Pedro Moura of ESPNLosAngeles.com, coach Lane Kiffin said afterward that he did not know the severity of Holmes' injury.

Most accounts reported that the injury seemed pretty serious, with one observer going so far as to say that he thought it might be a broken leg.

Senior quarterback Matt Barkley hinted at the Trojans' concern for Holmes when he asked his Twitter followers to keep Holmes, an All-America candidate considered by many to be the best center in the nation, in their prayers.
