Katie Couric will follow up her Manti Te'o interview by being the first to interview Sue Paterno, the widow of former Penn State coach Joe Paterno, on her daytime talk show.

Sue Paterno's first in-depth interview since the Jerry Sandusky sex-abuse scandal, Penn State's firing of her husband and his death of lung cancer on Jan. 22, 2012, will air on Feb. 11. She was married to Joe Paterno for 50 years, in which he coached Penn State to two national titles and 409 victories -- a major-college record until 111 of those wins were vacated by the NCAA.

The Hollywood Reporter reports Couric interviewed Sue Paterno in her State College, Pa. home. Paterno also is scheduled to appear at Katie's New York studio when the episode airs.
