Report: Raiders passing on Seneca Wallace

Free agent Seneca Wallace was in line to become a Raiders backup quarterback according to reports Wednesday, but the Raiders are saying Thursday the two may never come together, according to Vic Tafur of the San Francisco Chronicle.

Tafur adds that the team could revisit signing Wallace in the future.

The Raiders worked out Wallace and Tyler Thigpen in search of a veteran reserve quarterback to join Terrelle Pryor and new starter Matt Flynn.

NFL.com's Ian Rapoport tweeted that the Raiders' quarterback tryout also included Vince Young and Troy Smith.
