The Redskins plan to try out former wide receiver Donte' Stallworth during next week's minicamp, according to NFL.com's Albert Breer via Twitter.

Stallworth's off-the-field episodes have threatened to overshadow an NFL career that has included stints with the Saints, Eagles, Patriots, Browns, Ravens and Redskins. Stallworth was suspended for the 2009 season after pleading guilty to DUI and second-degree manslaughter after running down a 59-year-old man in the Miami. In May, Stallworth was cleared to return to football activities after suffering burns in a hot-air balloon that collided with power lines. Stallworth also recently claimed the CIA questioned him while parked outside the agency's headquarters in Langley, Va.

Stallworth, the 13th overall pick of the 2002 draft, has 321 catches for 4,837 yards and 35 touchdowns.
