Tiger Woods is the highest paid athlete in the world, according to Forbes. Woods spent 11 straight years at No. 1 before falling to No. 3 in 2012. The $78.1 million Woods made over the past year includes prize money, endorsements, appearance fees and golf course design work. Of the total, $13.1 million came from winnings from competitions, double his total from the year before. So far in 2013, Woods has won four majors on the PGA Tour.
