Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig will not play tonight against the Arizona Diamondbacks because of tightness in his right throwing shoulder, the team announced.

He is listed as day-to-day and Alex Castellanos will take his spot in right field.

Puig was only able to take one round of batting practice before having to leave the field with the team's trainer.

Dodgers manager Don Mattingly said Puig will be available to run and possibly pinch hit. Puig, 22, is batting .471 with four home runs and 1o RBI in 34 at-bats this season.
