U.S. bobsled officials to investigate alleged Lolo Jones fight

U.S. bobsled officials are looking into whether Olympic hurdler Lolo Jones was in a bar fight last Friday night in Lake Placid, N.Y., reports USA Today.

Jones recently turned her attention to the bobsled after spending most of her career as a hurdler.

Nothing has been filed as far as a police report, but USA Bobsled & Skeleton officials are looking into the allegations and speaking to the athletes and witnesses that were at the bar Friday night.

"We are treating this like we have with any other situation by investigating to see if there is a code of conduct violation," said USBSF spokesperson Amanda Bird.

Amy Van Dyken, a Fox Sports Tonight radio host and former Olympic champion swimmer, told the story on her Monday show. Van Dyken said Jones knocked out the stepdaughter of Tony Carlino at the bar. Carlino is the manager of the Olympic Sports Complex in Lake Placid.
