Baltimore Orioles third baseman Manny Machado suffered what appeared to be a serious left knee injury in Monday afternoon's game against the Tampa Bay Rays.

Machado was injured in the top of the seventh inning rounding first base after a single off Rays relief pitcher Jake McGee and his left leg buckled when his left foot slid off the base.

Machado immediately went down in pain and left the game on a stretcher.
