Montreal Canadiens enforcer George Parros was carried off the ice on a stretcher after falling on his face during a fight with Toronto Maple Leafs right wing Colton Orr Tuesday night.

The incident happened in the third period of the season-opening game after several fights in the period.

Once the two started fighting, Orr seemed to slip and while holding Parros's jersey fell face first onto the ice.  It was the second time in the game that Orr and Parros got into it.

The team said Parros was taken to a hospital for further evaluation after suffering a concussion. Toronto won the game 4-3.
