Jets running back Mike Goodson tears knee ligaments
Jets running back Mike Goodson tweeted Monday morning that he tore his MCL and ACL in Sunday's 19-6 loss to the Steelers. The Jets have not yet confirmed the injuries.
Goodson left the game in the fourth quarter.
ESPNNewYork.com's Kieran Darcy reported Sunday that the knee injury could be serious and an MRI was scheduled Monday morning.
Goodson rushed for 61 yards on seven carries in two games for the Jets.
Goodson made offseason headlines for signing a three-year, $6.9 million free-agent deal under new Jets general manager John Idzik, as well as an offseason arrest on drug and weapons charges, a four-game suspension for violating the league’s substance abuse program and a lawsuit for child support.
