Raiders keeping Matt McGloin at QB for now
Raiders head coach Dennis Allen said he will stick with undrafted rookie Matt McGloin as quarterback from now, but added that Terrelle Pryor will get another chance this season, according to Steve Corkran of Bay Area News Group.
McGloin, who started in lieu of Pryor for the past three games, completed 18-of-30 passes for 255 yards Thursday against the Cowboys.
Allen and general manager Reggie McKenzie will be gathering as much information about their quarterbacks as possible before heading into the offseason. From Corkran's report:
"I don't think he's done anything to play himself out of that position," Allen said of McGloin
"We need to have a good evaluation of what we have at the quarterback position as we move forward," Allen said. "These last four weeks will be instrumental in us being able to do that."
