Tampa Bay Buccaneers safety Dashon Goldson has already been fined and suspended one game this year and fined multiple other times for illegal hits, and he's upset that he is gaining the reputation of being a dirty player.
Goldson has racked up $130,000 in fines this season and was banned one game for a hit on Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Roddy White.
Goldson doesn't like that people look at him differently.
"Definitely," Goldson said, via the San Francisco Chronicle. "I remember being on the good side of it, hearing commentators, analysts talking about how perfect, how good, how I do it the right way, and all of a sudden with the new rule I'm a dirty player, a nasty player, targeted and I'm not playing the game how it's supposed to be played.San Francisco 49ers
"I think that's ridiculous, and [I'm] being targeted, I feel, because it's been a few times people have been in the situation or worse situations than me and haven't gotten penalized like I've been."
