Manager Don Mattingly has signed a three-year extension with the Los Angeles Dodgers, reports ESPN's Ramona Shelburne.
Mattingly has led the Dodgers since the 2011 season and captured the NL West in 2013 with a 92-win campaign despite a slow start from the team.
The former MVP's current deal was set to expire after the 2014 season, but the extension will keep him in the skipper's role through 2016.
