Oscar Pistorius vomited in court on Monday after hearing graphic details of his girlfriend's injuries after he fatally shot her, according to an Associated Press report.

According to the report, "The double-amputee runner, hunched over on a bench, reacted to the description of Steenkamp's wounds by vomiting and retching repeatedly, prompting [judge Thokozile] Masipa to briefly halt the testimony to ask the chief defense lawyer, Barry Roux, to attend to his client. The judge also asked whether Pistorius was able to understand the proceedings. Roux said Pistorius's reaction was not going to change, and a bucket was placed at his feet."

The testimony of pathologist Gert Saayman described photographs not shown to the gallery. He detailed bullet wounds on the right side on Steenkamp's head, and others on her right arm and right hip. He also described exit wounds caused by bullets as well as other injuries seemingly caused by shots being fired through a wooden door.
