Reports: Barça to let Ronaldinho walk

Pro-Barcelona daily Sport reports that the Blaugrana hierarchy have given Ronaldinho's agent, Roberto de Assis, permission to find his client a new club as his services are no longer required.

The Brazilian ace is finding life at Barcelona very hard and he has been widely tipped for a move away from Camp Nou during the summer transfer window.

Ronaldinho's brother and agent de Assis pronounced Tuesday that the 28-year-old has a contract with Barcelona until 2010 and that he had not engaged in talks with any club about a transfer.

However, things seem to have changed as Barcelona has reportedly given de Assis the green light to start searching for a new home for Ronaldinho, who is not part of the club's first-team plans for next season.

AC Milan is rumored to be leading the race for Ronaldinho's signature, with the likes of Chelsea and Manchester City also thought to be interested in the two-time FIFA World Player of the Year.

According to AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi, the Rossoneri are desperately trying to capture the former PSG player, having revealed that Ronaldinho has indicated he would be delighted to join the San Siro club.
