Beckham's $46M deal makes him world's highest-paid soccer player

The highest-paid soccer players in the world have been revealed, and top of the heap is one Mr. Posh. France Football has compiled a list of the highest earners in soccer today and David Beckham, currently on loan at AC Milan from the L.A. Galaxy, tops the list. The England star is joined by club-mates Kaka and Ronaldinho.

Meanwhile, Barcelona's Lionel Messi comes in second place and Ballon d'Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo is also included. Three English internationals in Wayne Rooney, Frank Lampard, and John Terry round out the top 10.

In terms of coaching, two ex-Chelsea tacticians lead the way. Inter boss Jose Mourinho earns approximately 11 million pounds ($15.6 million), while Luiz Felipe Scolari earns slightly more than the "Special One"' from his contract with the Blues, valued at 12.5 million pounds ($17.7 million).
