Florentino Perez knows about the agreements that are in place that could allow Real Madrid to sign Cristiano Ronaldo from Manchester United and he admits he is a fan of the player.

After the Portuguese star's revelation that he doesn't know if he'll be at Old Trafford next season, the would-be Bernabeu president has raised things further by indicating that he could well make a move.

Last summer Ronaldo was strongly linked with Madrid only for a deal to not materialise as United held firm and rebuffed all the speculation and rumors.

Now Perez is set to take the reins at the Spanish giants once again and knows that signing Ronaldo would secure him a legacy at the club once again after his predecessor failed to persuade the player to join.

"He's a player that would be very good if he came to Real Madrid," Perez is quoted as saying by Sky Sports. "What I know is what I've read, that there is an agreement by means of which he would come for [$129 million]."

Asked if he would be prepared to sanction such a deal, Perez added: "Next week we will look at the numbers and nobody should doubt that we are going to design with our sporting advisors a spectacular project."
