Real Madrid will be able to jump back in to their summer spending spree if they successfully off-load striker, Klaas-Jan Huntelaar.

And it could be as soon as this coming Monday if reports are true that the Oranje hitman will reveal his decision whether or not to leave the Santiago Bernabeu.

According to AS, the 25-year-old had met with Jorge Valdano to inform him that he will agree to study an offer tabled by VfB Stuttgart over the weekend and announced a formal reply on Monday.

Los Blancos, who had already confirmed that Arsenal are not interested in the Dutchman, have been trying to egg Huntelaar on to accept a move to the Mercedes-Benz Arena. The German side are so far the only club to have made a substantial offer of €18 million (plus €2 in incentives) to the 'White House', and president Florentino Perez has made it a priority to ship out the former Ajax marksman.

If Klaas does complete a transfer to Stuttgart, Madrid could begin their final push to sign Xabi Alonso. The Merengues had notified Liverpool that they would delay further negotiations for the midfielder until at least after they clear out another player from their bulging 30-man squad.
