NELSPRUIT, South Africa (AP) -- Chile coach Marcelo Bielsa will make a last-minute decision on whether to start Humberto Suazo against Honduras on Wednesday.
Bielsa said Tuesday the striker has recovered from a left thigh injury sustained two weeks ago but was still short of match fitness.
"Suazo has still got that special quality of scoring goals,'' Bielsa said. "I never take a risk with a player who's not fit, but that's not the case with Suazo.''
Bielsa said he would watch the players in training Tuesday before making a decision on the lineup.
"We've still got one training session left. I still don't have the formation resolved,'' he said. "Suazo has been training the last few days in the same way as the rest of his teammates but he's still affected in his physical fitness by the break he had after the injury.''
Bielsa said the rest of his squad was fit and that his game plan would be the same as always.
"We only think about attacking. We will try to attack as much as we can,'' he said.
In the other Group H game Wednesday, Spain takes on Switzerland.
