Report: Liverpool agrees deal for Sunderland's Henderson

Liverpool is believed to have clinched the signing of England international midfielder Jordan Henderson from Sunderland. The Guardian reported Tuesday that the two teams had agreed a fee worth in the region of £20 million ($32.9M).

Liverpool striker David N'gog is also expected to move to Sunderland in part exchange for Henderson. Officials from Anfield had been in extensive talks the past few days with Sunderland.

Henderson had reportedly wanted the deal completed before he departed Wednesday with the England U-21 squad for the European U-21 championship in Denmark.
