Ray Reid's Connecticut Huskies are the new No. 1 in the Tournament 48 National Ranking for men's college soccer, following a pair of victories this week to stay undefeated on the season.

The Huskies are now 8-0 after defeating Boston College 2-0 on the road and St. Johns 2-0 at home. UConn has surrendered just 2 goals in 8 matches thus far. They swap places in the ranking with Maryland, whose scoreless draw at Seton Hall this week is the first blemish on the Terrapins' record.

Meanwhile, Akron forward Darren Mattocks scored a hat trick in his team's win over Tulsa and has been named the Men's College Player of the Week.
