Stanford women still No. 1 after tourney opener

The updated Tournament 64 National Ranking now begins reflecting the results of the NCAA Women's Soccer tournament, but one thing that does not change is the top ranking for the undefeated Stanford Cardinal.

Paul Ratcliffe's squad took a shutout win over Montana on Friday evening and remains No. 1. The 32 first round-winners' position in the ranking is reflected accordingly, as are those 32 who bow out at the entry level of the tournament.'s Women's College Player of the Week is San Diego's Stephanie Ochs.
