Already under pressure just five matches into his return as Brazil's national coach, Luiz Felipe Scolari says his team deserves to be jeered and recognizes it's down to him to improve the squad and win back the fans in time for the Confederations Cup at home.

Brazil's players heard loud boos after a disappointing 2-2 draw in a friendly against Chile on Wednesday, a result that keeps Scolari with only one victory since his return - against minnow Bolivia.

Scolari admits he is struggling to get Brazil on the right track and that fans have the right to complain. He says the only way to regain their trust is to make the team play well again.

He says "it's normal for fans to react like that.''
