MILAN (AP) -- Newly crowned Serie A champion Juventus was held by Cagliari to 1-1, but Saturday's result did little to dampen spirits on the day it was presented with the trophy.

There was a party atmosphere at the Juventus Stadium and the home players walked out of the tunnel holding their children, who were wearing team kits.

Victor Ibarbo threatened to spoil the 29th title celebrations when he burst forward from his own half in the 12th minute, going between Juventus players Claudio Marchisio and Andrea Barzagli, before firing under goalkeeper Marco Storari.

It was the first goal Juventus conceded in six games.

Sebastian Giovinco almost leveled but curled a free kick onto the crossbar.

Juventus equalized after an hour. Arturo Vidal headed Marchisio's cross back across goal for Mirko Vucinic to tap in.

It was the fourth game in a row that Vucinic scored against Cagliari.

Juve sealed a second successive title with three rounds to go last weekend.

"The lads have been the protagonists throughout these two years,'' Juventus coach Antonio Conte said. "They have done great things, which are down to their sacrifice and their will to keep their minds on the job. They have grown as a group, they are the real architects of all this.

"They have always shown they want to win. Even today, we gave everything, we put our hearts into it and we deserved to win. Winning is always difficult, you should never be satisfied though. We still have one more game and then a deserved holiday. We need to rest, recuperate and recharge the batteries.''

Later, Catania beat already-relegated Pescara 1-0.

Pescara goalkeeper Mattia Perin kept his side in the match, pulling off several fantastic saves in the first half.

Catania took the lead six minutes after the interval. Gonzalo Bergessio crossed to the far post for the onrushing Alejandro Gomez to slot home.

Pablo Barrientos also hit the post direct from a corner kick.
