Zlatan Ibrahimovic

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is perhaps the best player in the world who won't be competing at the World Cup this summer, and after Portugal eliminated his Sweden in UEFA's qualifying playoff round, he reportedly said, "A World Cup without me is nothing to watch."

Well, some of Brazil's most recognizable faces aren't quite accepting that. A slew of Brazilian celebrities and athletes have taken it upon themselves to convince Ibrahimovic, one of the most entertaining personalities in the game, to go to Brazil to watch the World Cup. Ronaldo (Brazilian icon, not Cristiano, whose goals eliminated Sweden), Dani Alves, Denilson, Bebeto and MMA star Anderson Silva are among those imploring Ibrahimovic to ignore his own words, and, indeed, watch the World Cup.
