Real Sociedad finished in seventh place in La Liga during the 2013/2014 season. Carlos Vela and Antoine Griezmann led the team with 16 goals apiece. Vela also added a team-high 12 assists.
Griezmann left the club to sign with Atlético Madrid this week. Vela signed a four-year contract to stay with the team. The club also signed QPR midfielder Esteban Granero to a four-year contract.
