Canada Men's National Team

Canada missed out on the FIFA World Cup this year, unable to make it to the final round of CONCACAF qualifying. That extended the Canadians' World Cup drought to 28 years, having made just the 1986 tournament in their history. Dating to last year, the team went scoreless in 10 straight games until drawing with Bulgaria in May.

Midfielder Julian de Guzman leads the team with 71 caps, while fellow midfielder Atiba Hutchinson is close behind with 67. Forward Dwayne De Rosario, who has played with the team intermittently in recent years, is the team's career leader in goals scored, with 20.
