Paris Saint-Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been given a two-game ban, the French league announced on Thursday.
The punishment is a result of Ibrahimovic lunging at Romain Hamouma during a 1-0 win at Saint-Etienne last month. Ibrahimovic was given a yellow card and the incident was reviewed at a league disciplinary committee meeting.

Ibrahimovic will miss PSG's Ligue 1 match at Monaco on March 1 and its match against Monaco in the French Cup quarterfinal on March 4.
Ibrahimovic has scored 15 goals and has one assist across all competitions for PSG this season. In Ligue 1 play, he has 11 goals in 16 games.
