LIVERPOOL, England (AP) — Everton's struggles with holding the lead in the Premier League were once again on display Sunday at Goodison Park where the home side was held to a 2-2 draw by relegation-threatened Leicester City.

Everton, which took the lead through Gary Naismith in the 57th minute, has now dropped a league highest 17 points from winning positions.

Leicester struck back through Gary Nugent, who equalized in the 63rd, and took the lead seven minutes later when Esteban Cambiasso smashed the ball into the goal after a clever set-up by Jamie Vardy.

Despite squandering a host of chances the Toffees equalized with an own goal when Romelu Lukaku's diving header was directed into the net by defender Matthew Upson in the 88th.

Everton's barren run in the league has now stretched to just one victory in 10 matches.
