LONDON (AP) — Harry Kane scored his first Premier League hat trick as Tottenham held off Leicester to win 4-3 at White Hart Lane on Saturday.

Tottenham substituted goalkeeper Hugo Lloris after only four minutes with injury before taking the lead through Kane's close range strike in the sixth minute.

Kane scored again with a deflected shot in the 13th.

Leicester pulled a goal back seven minutes before halftime when Jamie Vardy converted David Nugent's cross.

Leicester captain Wes Morgan headed in a corner in the 50th to equalize for Leicester.

Kane then beat Kasper Schmeichel for his hat trick, converting from the penalty spot in the 64th after Nugent fouled Danny Rose.

Jeffrey Schlupp's own goal in the 85th secured Tottenham's win, despite Nugent scoring in the last minute for Leicester.
