COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Kei Kamara broke a deadlock in the 17th minute with his Major League Soccer-leading 14th goal of the season as the Columbus Crew went on to beat the Chicago Fire 3-1 on Sunday in game delayed 30 minutes because of heavy rain and lightning.

Federico Higuain scored with a penalty kick for Columbus in the 2nd minute, and David Accam equalized for Chicago with a free kick in the 9th.

Chicago's Jason Johnson picked up his second yellow card for a dive early in the second half and was sent off, leaving the Fire with 10 men, and Ethan Finley capped the scoring for Columbus in the 83rd minute.

The Crew also beat the Fire in Illinois on Wednesday night. Chicago is winless away from home this season.
