BOURNEMOUTH, England (AP) — Bournemouth beat Norwich 3-0 for its biggest win yet in its maiden English Premier League season on Saturday.
On a four-match winless run, including losing at home to West Ham 3-1 on Tuesday, Bournemouth showed no sign of a hangover as it scored within 10 minutes. Dan Gosling bagged the opener. He ran unmarked into the area and headed in Marc Hugh's pinpoint cross.
It marked Bournemouth's seventh goal in the first 15 minutes of a league match, the most of any side this season.
Charlie Daniels doubled the lead from the penalty spot before halftime, and Benik Afobe, Bournemouth's record signing, finally delivered with the last goal 15 minutes from the end.
''It was the perfect afternoon in many ways,'' Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe said.
