U.S. men’s national team goalkeeper Tim Howard will return to MLS and join the Colorado Rapids from Everton in the Premier League, ESPN FC reports.

The Rapids hold the top spot in MLS’s allocation order, giving the team the first shot at players off a set list of American internationals and ex-MLS players potentially interested in returning to play stateside. The club has reportedly been interested in Howard since January.

Howard, 36, is expected to finish the season with Everton, where he’s played since 2007, and join Colorado during the summer transfer window. He will reportedly make around $2 million annually through 2019, making him the highest-paid keeper in the league.
