Europa League quarterfinal draw: Liverpool to face Dortmund

Liverpool drew Dortmund in the UEFA Europa League quarterfinal draw.

The matchups for the UEFA Europa League quarterfinals were announced in the draw on Friday morning, highlighted by the matchup between Liverpool and Dortmund.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp previously coached Dortmund for seven years, leading them to two Bundesliga titles and a Champions League final before departing for Liverpool over the summer. His knowledge of the Dortmund squad could prove to be an advantage for Liverpool.

Defending champion Sevilla continue its quest for a third consecutive Europa League title against Athletic Bilbao.

Villarreal will face Sparta Praha, and Braga will play Shaktar Donetsk.

The first leg of the quarterfinals will be played on April 7 with the second leg taking place on April 14.
