Leicester City look set to complete the signing of Manchester City youngster Kelechi Iheanacho in the coming days - with new reports claiming that the Foxes may have to pay as little as £15m up front.

Own Goal Nigeria have claimed that the small initial fee has been agreed between the two clubs, however factors such as goals and appearances could see this it rise to £25m - with a shrewd proposed buy-back clause knocking the initial fee down a touch.

Iheanacho, 20, proved to be one of the Premier League’s most clinical goal scorers last season. He had the best goal to game ratio within the league with a goal every 70 minutes on average - particularly impressive when considering a lack of game time stopping him from getting into any kind of rhythm in the team.

Iheancho’s move is expected to be completed by the end of the week, where the Nigerian international will later join the rest of the Leicester squad in Hong Kong for their pre-season tour.

Wednesday afternoon saw Craig Shakespeare's side inch into the final of the Premier League Asia Trophy, beating West Brom on penalties after Riyad Mahrez's first-half goal cancelled out Jay Rodriguez's fine opener. Leicester will face Liverpool on Saturday, after the Reds eased past Crystal Palace.
